The range is named after the 3rd and 5th Generation, John Burger, on Rietvallei Estate in the stunning Robertson Wine Valley. The Burger Family has been pioneers in the Robertson Valley since 1864 and has helped transform the valley into a World Class Wine Growing Region.

If you are looking for a Smooth, Soft and Easy Drinking Red Wine…then you have picked the right wine. When you dont want a heavy Red as a welcome drink in Winter or just a good glass of Red with your Steak, Pizza or Pasta. You can even put it in the fridge on a HOT summer day, chill it down and crack it open…

This is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Tinta Barocca (The famous Portuguese Port vine). A wine with lots of attractive fruit flavours on the nose and which also carries through nicely on the palate with a hint of spiciness. It is smooth and well balanced with a touch of toastiness and lingering aftertaste.

Pink drinks are for girls they say… well guys we all know that’s not true so don’t be shy. This is a more serious Rosé and is made for everyone to enjoy. It is made in a dry style even though it has a lovely sweet berry bouquet. Rosé is a wonderful Food Companion and you can enjoy this with almost anything from spicy food to salmon.

This rosé is made from 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. The wine has a lovely floral bouquet expressing a mixture of berry-fruit flavours which carries through to the palate leaving a long-lasting aftertaste… A fresh, fruity dry rosé for everyday enjoyment.

The 2012 vintage will be bottled and released end of March.

Classified as semi-sweet but definitely not too sweet. In fact it tastes more off dry than semi-sweet so dont be scared to try this ‘fruit-salad-in-a-glass’ wine. It has a low alcohol of 11% and partners extremely well with spicy, asian food.

A slightly sweet Riesling showing lots of fruit and a lively spiciness. The wine is well balanced by a firm acidity which lingers pleasantly on the palate. A lovely, fruity, light in alcohol, everyday and every occasion drinking wine.
